Hi Martin, thanks for your response. On investigating your suggestion of using a blocker I discovered two things:
1. A qx.bom.Blocker does not inherit / include any events. 2. There is no way to get a handle on the blocker provided by an iframe (using the .block() method) though I suspect that this object too, does not provide any events. My use case is that these iframes will be contained within qooxdoo windows (and will take up the majority of the window's available space). I would like the window to be brought to the front on a mousedown event in the child iframe. If you have any other suggestions on how this may be achieved I would very much like to hear from you.
