Hi there,

I've noticed, that the input fields in IE10 have this 'clear' button that is
displayed, when the input has the focus and it contains some value
(see Attachment 1).

Although it's nice, I like to remove it from certain inputs (because I already
have implemented my own 'clear' button for my DateInput).

In IE10 however the use will be faced with *two* buttons ;)
(see Attachement 3)

I know that via CSS I should have to do something like this:
<code class="css">
  .someinput::-ms-clear {
      display: none;
}
</code>

But what would be the preferred qooxdoo-way of doing it? At the Theme,
Appearance, or ...? My button already is a child-control of myDateField do I
have to add a 'derived' appearance for the 'myDateField' input?
Can someone give me some information on this?

Thanks in advance,
  Peter
