Hey,
no thats totally ok that way. We changed our queues some time ago to use 
animationFrame too to increase the performance (notable on iPad e..g.). So the 
timers has been replaced and thats why every desktop app should see those call 
in a performance analysis.

I've done some profiling on chrome 28 while opening a window containing a large 
form.

By clicking through the time consuming function calls I found 
qx.bom.AnimationFrame.request and therein the local defined function clb 
raising and wondered why this is needed.

I've reached this point while drilling down nested calls of 
qx.Class.define.members.renderLayout.

I'm not doing any animations.

Does anyone (preferably Martin) know if this should be or if I'm accidentally  
somehow triggering animation stuff.

This is for qooxdoo master pre diet merge.
