I did try setting the request header, but this didn't have any effect on the
issue. And I think it shouldn't, either :), because overrideMimeType()  sets
the Content-Type header for the response, and not the request. 

But I am unfortunately not a pro in client/server transfers, so maybe
setting the request header and some other parameters can replace
overrideMimeType().
