I am totally new to qooxdoo and have been given a project by a client which
requires a number of updates to a portal they already have that uses qooxdoo
v0.6.1 (I think, as I cannot find any version ID anywhere).
The client specified that I cannot use anything newer than FireFox 3.5.19 as
things like HTML select input stop working in anything newer along with
other issues.
The portal appears to be only using qooxdoo for its UI as all the changes I
have needed to do so far I have made in PHP scripts and a few basic changes
in the qooxdoo JS, such as adding form fields.
The client is keen to move to a newer, more browser friendly, version of
qooxdoo and so I am wondering how much of a job it will be to upgrade the
existing code.
For example, the portal uses ListView for generating a list of items but
this appears to of been deprecated in favour of Table so that would be one
(of many no doubt) of re-writes needed to upgrade to a newer version.
What would be a good version to aim for?
I doubt they are using many of the features of qooxdoo in this portal so it
might be worth looking to upgrade to a newer version rather than going to
the absolute latest which may need too many changes.
I would like a good stable version that is 'easy' to implement into the
existing project and that has good 'modern' browser support.

Regards,
Michael
