Nice feature, we tested this input type file today with an Android Device (HTC One) and a iPad iOS 6.
Both worked good. I would not expect that it would work on Android 2. We do not provide such a feature inside qooxdoo. As this is a brand new feature where a lot of changes are expected to occur. If you want to use that you could use the mobile embed HTML widget.
