Hi.

I tested the TextArea even outside my application.

It doesn't work on PC/Linux with Chromium 34 and Firefox 28.
It doesn't work on an iPad with Safari (iOS 7.1).
It doesn't work on PC/Windows with IE 11.
It DOES work in the system browser in a Samsung Galaxy Note II.
It DOES work and in a Galaxy Tab 2.

It sounds really strange!
Is the mobile playground on the pointer branch?

When it doesn't work you can equally reach the TextArea with the "tab" key.
I created a GIST for an application that have the same behaviour.

https://gist.github.com/anonymous/305122688e7d750ec41c

You will see that you can click inside the TextField but not on the
TextArea.

I think that the issue is in the ScrollComposite component in which the
TextArea is added (but not the TextField).
Maybe it eats events before they reach the TextArea?

Thanks.

Leonardo
