Hi,

when I create a contribution skeleton using create-application.py -t
contribution, it always creates a "trunk" folder in which the actual
application is put. What is the purpose of this?

- When loading from the registry, the generator expects the Manifest file to
sit directly under the namespace folder, not in some "trunk" folder.

- If I create a new version of a contrib, I will not put the new version
under the namespace folder but create a branch (at GitHub, for example).

So I end up manually moving files out of the "trunk" folder to the parent
folder each time I create a contrib skeleton. Please consider omiting this
folder altogether. But maybe I am missing something.

Thanks,
C.
