Just found that code like this is getting the generator in trouble
... sometimes, it realizes that it does not understand it,
sometimes it does not realize it:
if (a) for (i=0;i<1;i++){ 1 } else while (true) { 1 };
but it seems to be legal javascript ... the source of D3 is riddled
with this kind of structure. (if with two loops in the then and
else block and no brackets).
