did you already tried to use getVisibleColumns() [1]?
var columns = table.getTableColumnModel().getVisibleColumns();
[1]

I have a qooxdoo table with list of columns, some are not visible columns.
User can then toggle the hidden column from the icon on the top right side of
the table.
How do i get the list of the visible column after the user hide/show some of
the columns?
