Adam Reichold proposed the following answer: If you feel comfortable with building from source and have the QtSql module with the SQLite driver installed, you can try the branch "lp:~adamreichold/qpdfview/persistentstate" resp. "https://code.launchpad.net/~adamreichold/qpdfview/persistentstate";. Beware, this is very much untested. There is also no setting to disable/enable it yet. I am also not completely satisfied with the performance of the SQLite driver. Again, testing and comments are appreciated.
