New question #265318 on qpdfview: https://answers.launchpad.net/qpdfview/+question/265318
My qpdfview windows disappear: it starts fine and I can use it as expected. However, after some time, the window is disappeared: no window can be seen anymore, it's not in the taskbar anymore, but when I open another pdf no new instance appears - my setup is to open them in new tabs. The process seems fine: > arian@jira:~$ ps aux|grep qpdf > arian 18249 0.3 10.1 1469168 311372 pts/6 Sl+ 12:42 0:50 qpdfview > --unique --choose-instance I could imagine it sort of looses connection to X, but I really have no Idea how X works, so it's a really wild guess. The reason I'm not posting this as bug is that I'm really not sure what's at fault - qpdfview or the rest of my system. I mean, it's really strange... I have no Idea how to debug this. I'm not even sure when this happens, but it happened multiple times. I've not actually seen it disappearing, I just noticed the missing windows. It might happen on screenlock (xscreensaver). I *think* I started it in a shell once and had it disappearing with no unusual output, no exit No other prgrams display any such behaviour. System is debian, a mix of mainly testing with some unstable on amd64. qpdfview 0.4.12. It's xfce 4.12 on Xorg 7.7, no wayland. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of qpdfview, which is an answer contact for qpdfview. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~qpdfview Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~qpdfview More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
