Adam Reichold posted a new comment: Hello again, the current trunk revision contains the addition of allowing to trigger SyncTeX reverse search using a keyboard modifier. This is disabled by default but can be enabled by selecting a valid keyboard modifiers using the settings dialog. (Note however that clicks with the Alt keyboard modifiers are usually intercepted by the window manager to drag windows around.) It would be nice if you could give it a try.
