Adam Reichold posted a new comment: Hello ubuntutefo, unfortunately this not easy to change as it is due to the fact that the annotation's appearance is rendered by the Poppler library which does all the other rendering as well it currently has no API to get renderings without annotations and just of annotations so that qpdfview can do the compositing itself, but this currently discussed in the Poppler project.
