With thanks to Kim for finding it, I'd like to propose

As the style guide for QPID C++ with the exception that Qpid continue to
use the .cpp file extension rather than .c++ It's not too far off the
existing style and it's largely in agreement with styles I've seen used
on other projects.
Any objections?
It looks like a very good document.
My only comments would be:
1) rule 37 about 80 char width. I used to abide by an 80 character
width but now I use 120 since screen resolutions are so much higher
now (cue reminiscing about how amazing VGA seemed compared with
CGA...)
2) rule 72. I think a coding std needs to pick a brace policy rather
than offering two very different options. My personal preference is
style 2 in rule 72 but it doesn't really matter which is picked as
long as one is decided upon.
Anyone know any good automated C++ reformatting tools?
Emacs?
