another road block might be the mina shanpshot, IIRC you can't do a
release
with a snapshot, especially with a head revision.
You can, and it certainly happens, but means you are developing
against a moving target as well. MINA's license lets you do whatever
you want :-)
If you are going to release against a snapshot, it might be good to
renamespace it via something like JarJar Links.
