Hi Alan,

Just wondered why M1 is not a production release ? I'm not aware of us
having discussed this on the lists (during the release or recently ?), so
apologies if I missed something along the way.

Regards,
Marnie

Content:
 Production Releases

These releases are well tested and appropriate for production use. The
Qpid project has not yet released a production release even though some of
the users are using Qpid in production scenarios. It is expected that
another one or two milestone releases might be made before the first
production release.
Development Releases

These release are intended for testing and previewing new features. They
have been tested and meet reasonable quality standards.

The Java M1 release can be downloaded from:
http://people.apache.org/dist/incubator/qpid/M1-incubating/java

A recent C++ snapshot is available at:
http://people.apache.org/dist/incubator/qpid/M1-incubating/cpp
RPMs for the C++ broker are available at http://rhm.et.redhat.com/download

As this project is moving very quickly it might be worth mailing the dev
list <[email protected]> to check the state of svn trunk and
use that.
