:-D Absolutely! I think you have a talent for squeezing new code into an
existing solution that is somewhat complex in its structure (going by dtx
stuff too). Also, I definitely like the idea of minimal code change to
arrive at a working solution; it means you are finding the shortest path to
go from a working system to a working system, with the necessary 'breaking
it to fix it' step in between. It also means that the possibility of merging
bug fixes down from M2 onto trunk remains open to the greatest extent
possible; important as customers using M2 will find bugs, the fixes to which
should be carried forward into the 0.10 code.
