The code for 0-8 on trunk has not been changed - and we have agreed we need
to retain 0-8 compatability in the client... thus we need to merge those bug
fixes. The broker has not been changed at all on trunk for 0-10 I hope; so
again patches make sense. I certainly don't support any notion of
completely re-writing the broker for 0-10.

I think that was assumed, question is working out that we have the right
stuff is merged so we know
from tests that we don't regress anything.
