Hi Nick, qpid is currently in transition to the new 1.10 version of the protocol, this is probably a temporary sypmptom of that transition - field table encoding is one area that is under construction at the moment. I am sure the problem will shortly be fixed if it has not been already - someone who works on the Java code can give you a more specific answer. Cheers, Alan.
