Aidan, excellent thanks for this improvement.
I have a Synapse based exchange sitting on a branch that I wanted to commit,
but waited until Roberts finished his work on making the exchanges pluggable.
I will clean up and commit this in the new year.
I like having a separate pluggin module which can be downloaded separately than
bundling with the main release.
It would be even better if we can have separate bundles as release artifacts
for each pluggin, instead of one archive for all pluggins.
Not sure how to do it with maven, but I think there is a way.
