My comment was really that in my view the project community as a whole
is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the software and
the PMC is responsible for ensuring that the community does this
according to the rules the Foundation has laid down.
Furthering the adoption of an open network protocol isn't in my view
an addition to the goal of creating & maintaining software, it *is*
the goal.
Sorry to nitpick and I accept not everyone necessarily agrees with my
view, I just want to clarify what that view is.
Yea -- I left the first bit in because most of the projects I looked at
have it.... so I guess will get send back if we don't.
