I believe there have been discussion in the past around adding SSL/TLS
to the c++ implementation but as far as I'm aware no-one is actual
working on that. It would be great if you were willing to take it on.
I'm afraid I'm not aware of any documentation to guide you, but please
feel free to ask any questions that occur on the list and perhaps we can
start assembling it as people respond.
