Hi Carl, I'd like the thought of Video, text and engine.
However, i quite didn't get what you mean by stock demo, and rendering farm demo I would like to first implement these in one language. May be one or several such demos and then work it for the others. It won't easier to pre-determine to what extent we can go ahead in each language until you try it. Therefore I think it is better to start the demo in say Java and then move on to C#.NET or if you want both VB and C# (you can do it first in VB.NET and simply convert it to C#, and then optimize the code so that we need to worry about re-implementing the wheel. Then perhaps we can think about the other languages. Do you have any better ideas? I'm presently in the process of playing around with your source to identify what could be done, and especially where I could start. Also, most importantly it wouldn't be certainly possible to get the same visual appeal when coding with several languages. Therefore, I think what is most important is a command-line app (like the engine in the Video app) with a reasonable UI. Thoughts?
