I'm very sorry! In checking over this latest release I noticed that the release notes for c++ are out of date. I've updated them (on the M2.1-release branch) to reflect that it is now version 0-9 of the AMQP specification that is supported.
Could we regenerate the c++ distribution? Apologies again for not spotting this earlier, I am duly embarrassed and ashamed!
