No, the test that is failing for you has been failing for a long time (against both brokers). I've mentioned this in past mails on testing of M2 and M2.1 release candidates.
I'm not sure what the issue is exactly, it looks like some sort of shutdown problem where the ruby io thread gets surprised by the connection being closed.
