Great -- let us know how you progress - mail if you need help. Also, if you need wiki access as you have a CLA I think we can make that happen with a vote as you progress.

Hi Rajith, Carl,

I would like to continue the work on the demo, I can get this organized with
Suran. I do have a CLA submitted, and have commit privileges to the Web
Services project.

Suran,

As Carl mentioned if you can help with the getting started guide, it will
give you a good idea about our project.
You could then do a good demo for us using different clients. That is a
good
way of getting familiar with the AMQP concepts and the code base.
Feel free to make suggestions, open JIRA's ,submit patches etc.

Rajith

Hi devs,

I am new to the Apache Qpid project and would like to contribute in
any
way that I can. I'd like to start by helping to update the Qpid site.
I'd be
grateful if you could give me any suggestions or pointers as to how I
should
begin, or even put me on the track of something that needs more urgent
attention.

Thanks.
Suran Jayathilaka.

One thing I had on my list was working out how to get the API guides
posted in HTML form on the site, participially for
the clients.

The structuring also needs work, for example it is not easy to find
descriptions on URI formats / examples and how to create
custom exchanges etc from JMS or other clients. I was thinking that we
should maybe add a section on clients under getting started and/
or something like that.... anyway take a look and make some suggestions.

Also, if you are any good with design, updating our template :-)

Are you a committer on another apache project, i.e. do you have an ICLA
on
file with Apache as that makes it easier when
working on the site. If not, no issue...

welcome,
Carl.
