I think we need to have documentation for the examples in the qpid
project itself (alongside the source and/or in the quick-start section
of the wiki). That way the documentation can evolve with the examples.

Obviously the best place to have the documentation for the examples is
the docs directory. We can have a set of nicely structured html docs for
examples explaining things like how to run, expected output, etc.

+1 also. Much/most of the redhat example doc is not redhat specific, and could
be relocated to qpid rather than rewriting from scratch. Johnathan Robie would
be the best man to comment on that. I believe it's currently based on docbook
which allows flexible generation of doc in various formats (PDF, HTML etc.),
that would probably be a good approach to adopt for qpid also.
