The compile ("make") failed in the same way for each of the
following, which is what I presume you were asking me about (pine has
wrapped each command line):
./configure --enable-home-dir-mail=Mailbox --enable-specialauth
--enable-apop=/etc/qpopper.auth --with-popuid=pop
--includedir=/usr/include/db1
./configure --enable-home-dir-mail=Mailbox --enable-specialauth
--enable-apop=/etc/qpopper.auth --with-popuid=pop
--prefix=/usr/include/db1
./configure --enable-home-dir-mail=Mailbox --enable-specialauth
--enable-apop=/etc/qpopper.auth --with-popuid=pop
--prefix=/usr/i386-glibc-20-linux
./configure --enable-home-dir-mail=Mailbox --enable-specialauth
--enable-apop=/etc/qpopper.auth --with-popuid=pop
--includedir=/usr/i386-glibc20-linux/include
