My setup follows:
RH linux 6.2 running on an intel box
Two nics, one to a cable modem, the other to the internal network. I
use ipmasqing and ipchains and portforwarding. This machine acts as my
router.
I've installed qpopper 3.1.2 the latest version. I configured and
compiled it like this: ./configure
--enable-specialauth--enable-servermode then I did make and put the
binary in /usr/local/lib.
I'm on an internal machine right now testing it out, the ip is
10.0.0.1. When I use netscape to connect to the router/pop server,
either using it's external ip address, or it's internal one I get an
error from netscape saying please contact the administrator.
