It's a DNS issue. qpopper is just doing a reverse lookup, nothing
magic, so if it fails from nslookup, too, then you know it's not
qpopper. If the reverse-DNS works from another machine, then there's
some reason the DNS data can't get from there to your qpopper server.

You could ask on the ISC bind-users mailing list. Be sure to provide
real addresses and names so experts can check your DNS. They skip
messages with obfuscated data.
