I am trying to get qpopper to run but it fails to run after restarting
xinet.
It gives me the "connection refused" message when I
telnet machinename 110.
Qpopper runs fine if I set it up as pop-2 service and give it port 109.
When I disable (commented out) the ipop3 entry in xinetd.conf
and changed qpopper to pop-3 and port 110 it fails.
I commented out the ipop entry.
Do I need to kill any instance of ipop still running?
xinet stop
kill any ipop
xinet start with new config?
