Hash the cache directory

For various reasons, I am stuck with an unhashed mail directory at this
time.  I am going to put the .cache files in their own directory and wonder
if performance would be better with the cache files hashed.  There doesn't
seem to be the ability to have a hashed cache name and regular spool but it
seems to be easy enough to add.
