yes, native, the pam module won't be sufficient for my needs. i'm sorry
that i dont have a patch for 4.0.x, to be honest, i installed 4.0.3 just
yesterday..i dont know when/if i'll have a patch for it.
if you're 'patch' savvy, you're welcome to try and evolve it to make it
work for 4.0
