Hello, Im trying to transfer the file /var/spool/bulls/bulldb
to another system running the same version of linux and qpopper.

However, if you telnet to 110 you get the following error.

-ERR [SYS/TEMP] Unable to open Bulletin database; contact your
administrator

error message from syslog is as follows.

 popper[12852]: mike at localhost.localdomain (127.0.0.1): -ERR
[SYS/TEMP] Unable to open Bulletin database; contact your administrator

I can't understand why you simply can't move this file to a different
machine for it to work. I also tried to use db_dump and db_load to create
the database file on the new machine. But I still get the same error
message. I have found no information regarding this on the net, I looked
at the qpopper guide, web site, but have found nothing. If someone's
mail server would happen to go down and they reinstalled the os's and
tried to restore the bulletins information it won't work.
How does one transfer bulletin information from one server to another.
Do you just explain to everyone why they are getting old bulletins?
I simply don't understand why it can't open the database file. I even
looked at the source but it didnt help me to much since I am not a C
programmer. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for
your time.
