I wish to use Qpopper with WU-IMAP. This works fine, however, I would like to use some of the optimizations of qpopper, like server or fast modes. The server (linux) runs only sendmail, qpopper and imap -- no shell connections.
The Qpopper documentation does not really state whether IMAP can be run in conjunction with either or both of qpopper optimizations, and what would happen if they were enabled. It just says that there shouldn't be anything else that modifies the spool files...but sendmail does...so maybe IMAP is ok... I assume that this is a fairly common configuration. Can anyone shed some light on this?
