It seems that we can't guarantee anything about 3 minutes without interrupting it that often to refresh it. Right now it is done with Qtouchfile() every check_lock_refresh messages if LOCK_REFRESH_INTERVAL has elapsed, but this could easily exceed 3 minutes already.
