Hi all, referring to this rather old thread, I hope to get an answer ;-)
RG> Qpopper automatically times out an old session, so have the user try RG> again in fifteen minutes, and all should be well. Qpopper will pick RG> up the mail from the .pop.temp file and use it, so nothing should be RG> lost. >>Must I set up a cron job (which ??) to check lock files and correct them ? RG> No, this is not required. >>Is there any kind of automatism build in in popper to correct this ? RG> Yes. Qpopper cleans up when it exits, and Qpopper reclaims locks RG> after a timeout. So here my question: what exactly is the timeout value after which qpopper cleans up the .<user>.pop zombies and where can I change it? Besides, changing some smaller value, can this have some negative effect on longer POP-sessions? Thanks in advance, Kai
