Hi: I tried to kerberize our qpopper 4.01 by using MIT kerberos 5 (1.2.5). I used --with-kerberos5=/usr/local/krb5 to turn kerberos 5 on. But Eudora 5.1 is still using kerberos 4 when it talks to Qpopper. So authentication fails.
Here is what I did. I compiled MIT Kerberos 5 with option --with-krb4 and then installed it. It is working for kerberos 5. Then I compiled qpopper 4.0.1 --with-kerberos5. In krb5.conf, I defined default_domains and v4_instance_convert. I ran popper 1110 -S -T 500 -K pop -t /tmp/pop.log When Eudora talks qpopper, it keeps on saying -ERR Uuknown Command: Is there other option or tricks I need to be aware of? Thanks Dennis Qiu
