As truly enjoyable as this whole thread has been, it reminds me why I've
left other groups. Can we kill off this thread, please?
I agree that Free != Free (cost vs. time). That is where this thread should
have ended. If you don't like qpopper or want to complain, go to
http://groups.google.com/ and complain to some news group.
If you have a legitimate question of a specific nature (with details of the
environment causing the issue) please post to the group. If the unpaid
subscribers have the answer and the time, we are happy to help resolve your
issue. (That was the next person who has the problem can consult the archive
and not have to email the list). We ask that you at least try to look
through the archives or do a Google search or two.

Qualcomm is kind enough to offer the source code for their product. There
are many companies (Sun, Apple, Red Hat (among many others) who make money
as a for-profit company and also offer products for free for the good of the
users. 

We're all (hopefully) adult enough to understand what these mailing lists
are for. This has been a great example to what it shouldn't be and why lists
go away. I please ask that this thread ends.
