Qpopper isn't firing. Tried several differenct compiles.... Went back to 3.1.2 vs from 4.0.3.... Do I need to get rid of shadow & MD5 passwords? The system isn't logging any errors, or any indication that qpopper is even present.
RH6.2 popper is in /usr/local/lib inetd.conf line pop3 stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/local/lib/popper -s hosts.allow line popper: .my-domain.com .virtualdomain.net .2ndvirtdomain.com /etc/services pop3 110/tcp pop3 110/udp Something appears to be keeping the qpopper from working at all. Any suggestions???? Outlook error - "Unable to connect to the server. (Account: "xxxxx", POP3 Server: "mail.xxxxx.com", ......)" Logs indicate sendmail is receiving mail & sending mail works great. Can't pick up new mail. No errors or log entries of any qpopper activity at all. It's as if the server isn't aware that qpopper is on the machine.
