Can't use DRAC: dracauth not found in -ldrac

Solaris 9 , sendmail 8.12.6, latest version of drac, qpopper 4.0.4

I have drac compiled and running, trying to build qpopper to use drac and that is the error that I get. I have read all over this list things to try and nothing works. I have copied libdrac.a to every directory in the world and also passed the path to configure and it always gives me this error. Can anyone help? Thanks !!
