i agree with the SMTP AUTH statements. be aware, if you're on a system that uses Norton AV, this has a habit of not letting AUTH work with the defaults. Default being for it to use the pop3 username/password. You have to actually "specify" your username/password. It won't assume it from your incoming authentication.
