Title: Disable IDENT
I have qpopper 4.0.3 installed on a server running SuSE Linux 7.3 (w/ 2.4.19 kernel). I’ve noticed that each time my users POP to it, it initiates an IDENT request (TCP 113). I want to disable this. I don’t need it. After researching this on the Internet, I’ve found those that mention that this is possible, but they don’t mention how. I couldn’t find anything about this in the Qpopper manual nor in any other documentation.
Is it possible to disable IDENT on qpopper? And if so, how?
Thanks in advance.
