It depends on who your users are and what their mail reading needs are. In an ISP environment catering to the home user (our situation) there is very seldom any reason to leave mail on the server, but a number of users do it anyway, refuse to be educated otherwise, but complain bitterly when it takes forever to get mail due to their grossly oversized mail spools. In a business or governmental environment there may be a need to access the same mail from several locations, but IMHO IMAP is a better solution in that case. -- Chip Old (Francis E.
