Short and simple : how do I proceed to make for correct POP/S (TCP/995) operations using the Qpopper/OpenSSL combo on a server with twenty-three associated FQDNs ?
More particularly: what do I enter as the 'Common Name' ? (Qpopper 4.0 Administrator's Guide, p.50) This server accommodates two large communities (each with their own /16 prefix) and I think I can set up two instances of Qpopper, listening on different IP addresses, should that help. The first instance could then have a certificate for POP.domain1.tld and the second for POP.domain2.tld, or is there a more simple solution ? Eric Luyten, Computing Centre VUB/ULB.
