remote_info

Is there a need to use remote_info for qpsmtpd? I find it takes an 
inordinately long delay to connect to the server from my laptop (Mac OS 
X) and discovered that the delay is on looking up the TCPREMOTEINFO 
(which I guess does an identd lookup?). I turned it off (-R flag to 
tcpserver) but I'm not sure if I'm breaking anything.
