Thanks Aran, Matt's patch seems to work. Clamd was originally setup to use domain sockets. When I saw the ping problem, I reconfigured it to use TCP sockets on port 3310. Now it's on TCP sockets and that fits the patch so it should do just fine. I'm testing it now and will probably come back with results within either a day or two, or a few hours if something terribly wrong happens. Overall, your two plugins seem to be saving me a lot of headache!! :-)
