Hi guys, While looking for a sensible solution to a headache qmail-smtpd was giving me over 8BITMIME hassles I came across this wonderful piece of software. qpsmtpd works correctly with the odd mailers, allowing them to send email! woo
Anyway, I would reeeeally like SMTP AUTH support. Otherwise I'll need to run another instance of qmail and just route all traffic to qpsmtpd. My perl and smtp/auth knowledge isn't exactly stellar, so my own efforts will probably take a lot of time, which I don't really have. Is there anyone already working on this? Or should I sit my ass down and do some work? :) Have already added a new return value, DENYQUIET (but it should really be IGNORE, or DROP, or something) and a function which lets me bounce virus laden emails, or just lose them (a good thing for virii like swen and klez). I also now keep a copy of all virii laden emails, in "quarantine". And few other changes.
