Notes allows you to pass values between *different* plugins.
Notes also guarantees that it will be reset at the end of a connection or transaction, whereas setting an entry in the plugin hash might live longer than that.
I've been using notes(), but have found that the values are not reset upon
a RSET command. Should they be?
The transaction notes field should be reset at the start of the next command after an RSET. The connection notes should persist.
